Biggs Cardosa was the structural subconsultant for the Sperry Road Extension Project that extended Sperry Road East for one mile beyond the interchange of Interstate 5 and French Camp Road. The project included five new bridge structures as part of the contract. It included a single-span structure over the French Camp Slough, a multi-span structure over El Dorado Street, and multi-span structures over the UPRR Fresno, UPPR Oakland, and UPRR McHenry BNSF railway crossings. Biggs Cardosa was also retained by the City to provide construction support services for each of the bridge structures. Construction responsibilities included reviewing shop drawings, responding to RFIs, processing CCOs.
