Biggs Cardosa was retained by the developer, Standard Pacific, to provide construction inspection and testing for this 289-foot long by 45-foot wide structure consisting of a prestressed precast concrete girder bridge situated over the UPRR tracks and an environmentally sensitive waterway. We provided full-time inspection, materials sampling and testing during the construction phase of the project including full-time inspection at the precast plant. We also provided construction support services including RFI responses, submittal reviews, review of contractor’s working drawings and attendance at the weekly progress meetings.
