Biggs Cardosa was retained to provide special inspections and materials testing services for the conversion and seismic retrofit of two existing two-story buildings, each approximately 56,000 sf. These buildings are for use as a sanctuary, gymnasium, bible study rooms, bookstore, and administrative offices. The special inspection services included the placement of reinforcing steel, concrete, masonry, welding of structural steel and metal deck, fireproofing and installation of adhesive dowels.
