Raj has over 30 years of executive, management, and technical experience. He has successfully managed companies, regions, and offices and led multidisciplinary teams for the capture management, procurement, and delivery of a wide variety of routine and high-profile infrastructure improvement projects involving bridges, highways, transit, railroads, pedestrian structures, bikeways, trails, pipelines, and tunnels from the planning, design, and inspection to the construction phases in conventional as well as alternative project delivery environments. Raj is the author of several technical papers and book chapters on bridges and specializes in complex bridges, multidisciplinary project management, alternate project deliveries, structural composites, and bridge preservations. Raj served in key positions with national and international firms before joining Biggs Cardosa, including a bridge consulting firm he founded. Raj maintains active professional engineering licenses along the west coast and has successfully led the completion of numerous bridge projects in California, Oregon, Washington, Alaska, Idaho, Utah, Montana, and Iowa.
