Biggs Cardosa was the lead structures engineer for a new bus transfer facility. This $8.7m transit center on Sacramento Street completes the firm phase of a massive development project designed to better integrate the Vallejo Ferry at the waterfront with the city’s historic downtown. The structures include: two-story 5,000 sf building for public and transportation staff use; six 60-foot long steel-framed shelter structures and a conical shaped rotunda structures at the center of the structure.
