Kent Cordtz, PE, SE

Kent brings over 38 years of diverse structural engineering experience on major and complex projects including highways, railroads and pedestrian bridges. He is experienced in traditional project delivery methods as well as design-build and public-private partnerships. Kent has been involved in preliminary studies, final design, construction support, quality control, constructability reviews and value analysis. In addition to standard bridge types, his experience has also included segmental concrete girders, steel and concrete arches, cable supported structures, deep foundations including marine construction, rehabilitations, seismic retrofit, and accelerated construction methods such as float-in and horizontal jacking. Kent’s project experience includes numerous high profile and award-winning bridge projects in California, Oregon, Washington and Nevada.  Kent is a recognized expert in the bridge engineering industry and is a published author and presenter of many articles, manuals and studies on structural engineering, bridge construction techniques and quality control guidelines.
